Hey there, Soldier

One of the things that Den and I love doing together is eating. :) From restaurants to "turo-turo," most of our dates were never complete without food. So on his recent visit to Cebu, we decided to head to the city's latest restaurant addition - Army Navy.

This American-Mexican inspired restaurant offers burgers, burritos, quesadillas, and almost all the good things that you would think about when you are craving for comfort food. So here are a few photos that we managed to capture in between munching delicious food and sharing some quality time together:

This is their menu. I highly recommend their burger cause its really worth your money.  Den said the Burrito was great too and so is their Fearless Chicken.

This is us waiting for our food. I tried eating in the restaurant with friends the night before and we waited for our orders for almost an hour so its not advisable to go there when you are really hungry. We decided to go there at around 3 PM so we could avoid the crowd during lunch and dinner and it was effective. Anyhow, the food was really worth the wait.

Yeah. This is how they call their open-faced quesadilla. Its almost like  thin-crust pizza but its way more delicious because of all the spices in it including their Jalapenos.

Run for the Bunker! The concept of the restaurant is actually like a military camp where you would line up to get your food. And they have tin plates too.

This is where you order your food.

I ordered their classic burger which has one patty. They also have a  double patty burger and their famous Bully Boy burger with 3 patties.
So here is my burger with all its glory...Yum!
Den chose to eat their Fearless Fried Chicken and I must say, for someone who's really meticulous about fried chicken, the compliments were pretty good.

We also ordered their Freedom Fries which is fantastic, their milk shake , and their Burrito.

So there you have it. Many people get irritated lining up and waiting too long for their food, but it was actually worth it for me. After all, it takes a little sacrifice to taste something really good.

To more food trips together!

XOXO,

D and D
